Men's Tennis Falls to Nichols, 9-0

DANBURY, CT - After downing Farmingdale State on Sunday, the Western Connecticut State University men's tennis team fell to visiting non-conference foe Nichols College, 9-0, on Wednesday afternoon. With the loss, the Colonials dropped to 2-4 overall, while Nichols improved to 10-2.

The doubles squad of juniors Adam Howard (Waterford, CT) and Jeffrey Hensley (Naugatuck, CT) put forth the strongest effort for the Colonials to finish play as they won four games in their match versus freshmen Guilherme Barbosa (Bradenton, FL) and Chase Pierce (Cumberland, RI).

WestConn returns to action at Merchant Marine on Thursday at 4 p.m.
