    DANBURY, CT – Junior midfielder Olivia Kosilla (Ellington, CT) tallied a game-high nine points on the strength of three goals and six assists to guide the Western Connecticut State University women’s lacrosse team to a 17-2 Little East Conference win over visiting Rhode Island College on Saturday afternoon at The Westside Athletic Complex. Rookie attacker Brooke Baldelli (New Fairfield, CT) chipped in with a game-high four goals and an assist, while senior midfielder Destinee Carey (New Milford, CT) added a hat trick for the Colonials.

    NEW LONDON, CT - Western Connecticut State University junior midfielder Olivia Kosilla (Ellington, Conn.) had five goals and three assists and rookie attack Brooke Baldelli (New Fairfield, Conn.) scored two goals and assisted on three others to finish with five points in Thursday night's 17-8 loss at Connecticut College in the Whaling City.

    DARTMOUTH, MA – Junior Olivia Kosilla (Ellington, CT), senior Destinee Carey (New Milford, CT) and rookie Brooke Baldelli (New Fairfield, CT) combined to score 14-of-15 goals for Western Connecticut State University as they upended host UMass-Dartmouth, 15-13, in a Little East Conference matchup on Tuesday evening. With the win, the Colonials improved to 6-7 overall and 1-2 in conference play, while the Corsairs dropped to 7-6 and 1-2.

    PLYMOUTH, NH - Despite game-highs of four goals and two assists from senior midfielder Destinee Carey (New Milford, CT), the WestConn women's lacrosse team was downed at Little East Conference rival Plymouth State, 13-10, in a contest played at The Holderness School on Saturday morning. Rookie attacker Geovanna Badaro (Fairfield, CT) chipped in with two goals, while junor midfielder Olivia Kosilla (Ellington, CT) added a goal and a helper to go along with a game-high six draw controls.

Senior midfielder Destinee Carey (New Milford, CT) paced the Colonials with game-highs of six goals and three assists, while Kosilla finished with four goals and two helpers.

Colonials senior midfielder Meaghan Gustafson (Newington, CT) added a hat trick and two assists, while sophomore Lauren Bradshaw (Bethel, CT) chipped in with a tally and a pair of assists. Senior Andrea Tarsi also notched a pair of goals for the visitors.

The Lancers rallied in the second half and notched the game-winner when Mackenzie Little scored with just 27 seconds remaining.
